Marks Sattin are looking for an ambitious Accountant with extensive knowledge of management accounting principles, experience of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and KPI's. You will be responsible for the supervision of junior members of staff so strong leadership skills are a must. A key part of the role will be driving change so the successful individual will be autonomous and have a willingness to constantly improve processes. Duties will include: Supervise, co-ordinate and be accountable for the activities of Management Reporting Team , ensuring all deadlines met Manage management reporting workload to meet department, group and UK operational requirements Ensure accounts are accurate, compliant and produced in a timely manner Personally responsible for the preparation of Accounts - Central Overheads Direct the preparation of weekly margin reports Oversee compliance and review thereof, key monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports Be key contact alongside the Group Controller for reporting including Monthly Gross Margin Report, Monthly Controlling Report, Economic Value Added calculations, Days Sales Outstanding calculation, Balance Sheet, Working Capital & Cashflow Review and improve reporting policies and procedures Ensure all accounting records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements Support all internal and external audits Work closely with Financial Accountant interpreting and communicating new legislation impacting management accounts Manage, take accountability and resolve issues relating to accounts production Dealing with unresolved escalation of queries from team Responsible for training and development of the team This role requires applicants to be Qualified.
