Accounts Payable Assistant Location : Basildon - SS15 6EF Salary : £20k Pro Rata Employment Status : Part Time - Permanent - 09:30m and finishing at 2:30pm 5 days per week Wilmington plc is a dynamic and expanding company with a common aim - turning knowledge into advantage. We want you because you have experience within an accounts payable team, solid working knowledge of the Sun accounting system and you're looking for a part time role starting at 09:30m and finishing at 2:30pm 5 days per week. Main Purpose of Role As you'd expect in this Accounts Payable Assistant job role, you'll get involved in all things AP On a day to day basis you will be processing expenses, analysing and VAT checking them and ensuring they are accurate and paid regularly. You'll need to keep an eye out for urgent payments making sure they go to the top of your priority list and you'll need to make sure scheduled payment runs are processed twice monthly. A good eye for detail and financial mind will help you to ensure our company credit cards are reconciled correctly and the returns - vat/receipt are analysis and checked thoroughly. Invoicing also sits within this role so you'll be responsible for ensuring remittance advice payments are processed and sent to Suppliers. Here at Wilmington we don't like to pigeon hole people in to one role, so you'll have the opportunity to get involved in lots of other parts of the business too.
