Robert Half are looking to represent a immediately available purchase ledger clerk to join within our clients finance function n Northampton to join them for 3-6 months with a chance of extension or being made permanent. Experience with sage is preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate will be keen to hit the ground running and be motivated to work in a fast paced office. Your job duties in this purchase ledger role will consist of the following: Post, code and input all incoming unapproved invoices. Matching of invoices to purchase orders. Processing of all returned approved invoices. Posting of payments and journals. Answering all telephone enquiries in a professional and informative manner. Reconciling supplier's statements with ledger accounts. Filing/scanning. Chasing managers for overdue invoices by a variety of communication methods. Generate weekly/monthly payment runs when required. Ad hoc work as and when required. If you are able to travel to Northampton, immediately available and have some previous purchase ledger experience we would love to hear from you.
