What you'll be doing In this role, you will improve profitability by extensive audits of department revenue charged together with third party applicable invoices, providing an added value service to departments and enhance existing work processes and systems. You will also help work on the implementation of recommendations following processes reviewed. Provide an added value service to the organisation by identifying improvements to processes and identify any opportunities for new revenue capture, together with enhancing quality of information. What's a typical day? A typical day will be assisting with improving departmental profitability by extensive audit of department revenue charged together with third party applicable suppliers invoices. You'll also monitor that agreed recommendations made are implemented for each department covered with appropriate reporting in place with escalation process. You will educate the hospital and enhance revenue capture/reconciliation related processes and control and build and maintain effective working relationships across the Hospital and with other colleagues across the business. You'll help process any amendments which are required on a patient's account, ensuring that any corresponding request for payment/credit is actioned and Provide administration support to process charges on a daily basis for departments which require the service. Who we're looking for? Strong analytical skills, with the ability to search out relevant information and explanations. Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook Ability to identify and act on opportunities for improvements in processes, controls and reporting. Highly developed influencing skills with the ability to enthuse and get the buy in of internal or external individuals. Ability to work to deadlines. Ability to collaborate constructively with internal and external partners to create the conditions for successful partnership working. Excellent inter personal and communications skills and demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills. High level of work organisation, self motivation, drives for performance and improvement, and flexibility in approach and attitude. Good negotiating and influencing skills. Articulate with strong sense of commitment to openness, honesty and integrity in undertaking the role. Ability to use various reporting systems. What's it like to work here?
