Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting an Assistant Accountant for an exciting and well established business in Fife. This role is a pivotal one within the company structure and it is well suited to an accounts assistant or assistant accountant looking for a challenging but rewarding new role. You will be involved in the budgeting and forecasting process, as well as cashflow analysis and project accounting. Duties will also involve monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconcilliations, stock accounting and planning analytics. Your Profile Analytical Skills - it is crucial that the successful candidate is able to visualise, articulate and solve problems. High attention to detail - a meticulous approach when entering and reporting financial data Team work - the ability to work closely with other members of the Finance Team Customer focus - the role will involved keeping the customers best interest in mind and being flexible to meet their needs Communication - the ability to explain and report findings clearly both in written and verbal form Mentality - the suitable candidate will be hardworking, self sufficient and driven Qualifications and Experience Ideally you will be working towards a recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA) Previous experience in a finance function Experience of using SAP would be desirable but not essential Strong PC Skills, particularly using Microsoft Excel and Word Salary and benefits Salary will be circa £25,000 - £27,000 (DOE) plus considerable benefits Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
