A chartered accountants practice in W10 are looking for a Junior Accountant to provide support to a team of accountants. The Junior Accountant will assist and help maintain the bookkeeping requirements for a varying portfolio of clients. Salary £18,000 - £25,000 depending on experience. Junior Accountant responsibilities Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded and analysed. Assist with reviewing and entry of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings Preparation and submission of VAT returns Reconciling accounts including Bank, PAYE, and VAT etc. Junior Accountant requirements Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAGE) Qualifications (AAT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus but not required
