Due to the current growth and future plans we are looking for a strong Financial Controller or Finance Director to work with our MD to develop the finance function. The role comes with the opportunity for progression and development. It is a fantastic time to join Mach as our business continues to grow from strength to strength. As our Financial Controller/ Finance Director you will have autonomy for all things finance, managing the day-to-day function in its entirety, reporting into the MD and providing strategic advice. You will be responsible for: Coordinating all internal finance processes and controls Strict working capital and cash flow management including bank relationship management and reporting Managing all transactional finance (AP/AR/credit control, bank etc) Arrange bank payments for all suppliers & employees Working with the current external out sources to bring monthly management accounts and reporting in house Monthly VAT and PAYE payments Lead the Financial Planning and Budgeting process that will meet the commercial growth objectives whilst ensuring potential risks are assessed and mitigated Main contact for audits Complete credit control for the company on a weekly basis including reconciling client accounts and issuing up to date statements following received payments Work alongside key stakeholders to increase revenue. You will be able to demonstrate: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Experience of working within an SME in a broad finance role Working and dealing with Directors on a day-to-day basis Working with SAGE Excellent levels of accuracy Willingness to work hands on Experience presenting to external stakeholders Have a drive and determination to take a business to the next level A strong commercial acumen working with our SMT to improve EBITDA Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.30pm Permanent position Mach Recruitment Ltd are acting as employer for this vacancy
