We now have an exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the South West's leading employers as a Capital Assistant Accountant for our team based in Exeter. The Role The Capital Finance Team are responsible for expenditure reporting, collation of forecasts, production of depreciation forecasts, statutory and regulatory reporting and maintaining the Company Fixed Asset Register. The role of the Capital Assistant Accountant within the team is to make appropriate entries to the Fixed Asset Registers and other accounting records; performing reconciliations and undertake control activities; to provide accounting and administrative assistance to the capital accounting team and ensure excellent communication with all other finance teams. The Ideal Capital Assistant Accountant: AAT fully qualified or ACCA / ACA / CIMA part qualified Previous experience with fixed asset registers or other similarly large data-based applications would be an advantage Good Excel and Word skills Methodical, accurate and consistent approach to work. Ability to support team demands and a junior colleague. Good attention to detail, the ability to prioritise tasks and 'self-audit' your own work.
