Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a Finance Business Partner for a successful business in South Yorkshire. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide financial support to Operational Managers across all departments across the business and to support their understanding, and influence the senior management team on how to drive performance based on the numbers. Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all management accounts for each department are accurate before final distribution - Preparing the Budgeting & Forecasting plan for the business and understanding movements between current and previous trends, identifying any potential future risks as well as opportunities. - Developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relations across different functions of the business, with the ability to both support and challenge peers and senior managers - Provide advice & support to cost centre managers on reasons for cost variances across the business; make recommendations for improved Financial Controls and drive improved cost efficiency - Review sales and margin analysis with detailed variance analysis incl price, volume and mix - Develop & enhance the monthly reporting packs and ensure they are consistent across the business - Play a key role in implementing KPI reporting across the business - Provide critical analysis and challenge the business areas where necessary - Producing bridge analysis and explanation for variance from budget/Forecast - Cap ex and fixed asset management Key Skills: - Qualified Accountant ACCA, CIMA or QBE/ Finalist level also considered - Be commercial minded with relevant commercial experience - Have good organisational and planning skills so as to be able to manage and prioritise workload whilst maintaining flexibility and achieving tight deadlines - Be a team player, with the ability to work as part of a team and be proactive in the team's advancement and development - Excellent communication skills If you have the necessary skills and experience and would like to be considered for this excellent opportunity please apply today or call me for further details.
