BTG Accountancy & Finance are working with a long-established Accountancy Practice based in Newark that are looking to hire a Bookkeeper. My client is looking for someone that has, or is close to, completing the end of their AAT studies, although those that have significant experience working in a practice environment will also be considered. Your new role You will be working with a busy firm that has an excellent reputation in the local community. The role will see you working a varied role with duties such as preparation of accounts, tax computations, VAT returns, and Bookkeeping. A large amount of the clients working in this practice have already transferred over to online software such as Xero and Quickbooks however, part of your work will be to help transition those clients that have yet to make the move. It is for this reason that you will need to have some experience using Quickbooks and/or Xero.
