Our client, a highly successful manufacturer based in South Leicestershire, is looking to recruit a Commercial Analyst on a permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to study information and analyse data on external customers, market and trend data to help frame the decisions made on product design, ranges, prices and promotions. You will work closely with the Managing Director, Commercial Manager and Finance team to provide regular sales and market insight data. Key Duties and

Responsibilities:
Monitoring, tracking and issuing spreadsheet of all cost prices and margins across all accounts. Ensuring data is fully up to date as NPD comes on board. Collecting weekly sales data across all the accounts and presenting weekly and monthly reports with clear analysis of trends and recommendations. Review and analyse promotional spending by account and keep commercial team up to date. Provide ROI analysis on all marketing campaigns and sales activities Analyse Customer trend reports and make recommendations Monitoring and feeding back to the business on Category, Shopper and Market trends Monitor and track competitor activity Design research questionnaires to gain consumer insight and identify new opportunities To assist with administration of new product launches Skills, Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications: Curiosity High numerical skills Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills Statistical skills - desirable Analytical skills Attention to detail Ability to digest large quantities of information and pull out salient points and communicate in an effective way Strong written and communication skills essential Proven track record of working to KPI's and achieving targets Right to Work Full time within UK, not on a temporary visa For further information please contract Charlotte Mitchell.
