The Organisation Part of a successful group of international schools, our client is a leading educational organisation that has created a network of institutions and connections that facilitate learning solutions for foreign students coming to the UK. They are now looking for a Finance Officer to join them on a contract until 30th August 2019 and support the successful running of a summer school for their international students. For advertising purposes, this role is titled Finance Officer. Internally, it is known as Finance and Student Liaison Officer. The Benefits - Salary of up to £30,000 pro rata - Free lunches while the summer school is in session - Business travel expenses (travel to and from airports) - Join a talented team who are committed to delivering great results - 33 days' holiday pro rata The Role As a Finance Officer, you will perform a range of accounts activities to support the smooth running of our client's summer school. The other aspect of your role will involve organising airport transfers for international students, ensuring a smooth start and end to each student's summer school programme. Your duties will involve: - Chasing up unmade payments - Taking responsibility for petty cash - Helping to collect forms and information from parents and students - Monitoring and managing the student database - Co-ordinating and meeting and greeting students at airports on their transfer dates - Communicating key information to students' host families About You To be considered as a Finance Officer, you will need: - Previous accounts experience - Experience of working in customer service - A meticulous approach - Excellent communication skills Other organisations may call this role Finance Officer, Finance Clerk, Accounts Officer, Accounts Clerk, Accounts Administrator, Student Liaison Officer, School Finance Assistant or School Accounts Clerk. This is a full time role, working five days a week, normally 8:30 - 17:00. Working hours may slightly vary on weekends, as you'll be accompanying students to the airport. Interviews are scheduled to be held in early April 2019, however, our client will be reviewing and shortlisting candidates as and when applications are received.
