This position would be ideal for someone who is looking to take the the next step in their accountancy career and has extensive experience working as an Accountant within a Medium-Large Accountancy Practice. responsibilities:
Preparing year-end statutory accounts Processing the internal payroll for the company using manual calculations Ensuring the firm remains compliant with regulations Supervising and managing the work of the entire accounts team Quarterly VAT returns Preparing financial reports for the Partners Maintaining Partners diaries and agendas Preparation of the Annual Financial Statements Ensuring accounts are kept compliant in line with regulations The ideal Senior Accountant will have/ be: 5 years experience in an accountancy practice Strong technical skills Experience managing staff and overseeing their work Ability to communicate excellently, both written and verbal, to those at all levels Hold an Accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA) Keen eye for details with the ability to prioritise work Strong organisational skills Practical knowledge of accounting systems Ability to meet strict deadlines in accordance with regulations If this position is of interest to you, apply now Any questions, please contact Jessica in the Hatfield branch.
