We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Management Accountant to join our friendly Finance team based in Letchworth Garden City. The position will be working 22.5 hours per week, on a permanent basis Altro are a leading British manufacturer and supplier of premium flooring and wall cladding systems for construction and transport. We have been going strong since 1919 and voted one of the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For, for 11 years Family owned and run, we share family values; we care about you, each other and what we do As a Part Time Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include: Preparation of management accounts and tailored monthly financial reporting for designated areas to include; KPIs variance analysis Cmmentary, review of major activities generating costs/revenues Impact n forecast and achievement of strategic plan Prduct margin analysis Develop reports and processes to aid the understanding of UK Marketing and Samples spend Update, maintain and collate the Floors & Autoglym Weekly sales reports, liaising with overseas staff to ensure all subsidiaries are accounted for and verified Consolidate the Global Transit reporting and liaise with the Commercial Transport Manager Liaise with HR to ensure payroll data is received in time for the monthly forecast Update monthly headcount summary for floors reporting using the payroll data Posting and reconciliation of prepayments relating to the designated business units Reconciliation of nominated balance sheet accounts What are we looking for? Experienced accounting analyst with demonstrable level of commercial awareness Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to interpret and add insight to financial data and communicate this effectively to non-financial staff Ability to understand complex Excel spreadsheets Experience of cross functional working JD Edwards and Cognos experience would be an advantage but not essential If you have the relevant experience and would describe yourself as, self-motivated and proactive, then click 'Apply' today, we would love to hear from you
