We are currently recruiting for a Credit Analyst for our clients who are a leading provider in the industry based in Haddenham. The main purpose of the role will be to prepare, assess and submit all credit applications to the Finance department in accordance with company policies and procedures. Main
Responsibilities:
To record, analyse and prepare all credit transactions for approval or disapproval within credit authority or forward to appropriate authority level. Liaising closely with the sales/marketing departments to relay decisions and obtain relevant information. Maintain and update the data storage of customer credit records. Participate in evaluation the portfolio quality of customers and their ongoing financial stability and obtain necessary information to monitor transaction volume and quality whilst providing a high level of customer service. Monitor the auditing process in relation to customers within company guidelines, assisting in completion in the field as and when required. Candidate Requirements: Suitable applicants will be required to hold or be studying for a Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting or Economics, and ideally: Related work experience with knowledge of lease and lending documentation in a financial environment would be preferable. A knowledge or understanding of financial statements (balance sheet and profit & loss) will be advantageous. Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to work to tight timescales. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with strong emphasis on attention to detail. The ability to deal effectively with all levels within the organization. Be proficient with PC, specifically Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook). Possess a full, clean driving license and a willingness to occasionally stay away from home as and when required. Competitive salary depending on experience 37 hour working week - Monday - Friday with an early finish on Fridays. Excellent company benefits
