My client an innovative and rapidly growing Fintech start-up are seeking a commercially focussed Financial Controller to join the company at a very exciting time in its growth. This role is designed to support the CFO and COO and to take on the existing duties in supporting the Company's financial and business strategies. Key duties To assist the COO and Finance Director with all accounting related matters, including business structuring and forecasting. Prepare budgets/forecasts and analysis of costs on an ongoing basis, particularly in relation to new business initiatives and projects Produce weekly and bi-weekly reporting on sales pipeline and revenue outlook Prepare periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries Liaise with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context Production of UK Statutory Accounts Continually adapt and improve management reporting and KPIs to meet the needs of the business and management team Consolidating and reviewing the monthly management accounts Liaise closely with the CEO and CFO when building budgets and forecasts to ensure accuracy of data and operational information Effectively manage, evaluate and negotiate external relationships with investors, auditors, bankers and other partners Overseeing regulatory submissions.
