Financial Analyst required for my Slough based client for a permanent role paying £30-35k. You will be joining a central Financial team with the purpose of preparing key financial information, planning and actual reporting, supporting senior members of the team on strategic initiatives and ad-hoc project work. This position will enable you to develop your technical skills and offer progression with study support for professional qualification (after a 6 month probation period). The ideal candidate will be motivated and flexible with an outgoing personality, have experience working in a business environment, and will be educated to degree level with at least a 2:1 in a relevant discipline. Responsibilities Assist with financial planning and budgeting on a rolling monthly basis. Analyse actual financial results against forecast performance on a monthly basis. Preparation of variance reports and analyses that comment on the underlying commercial reasons for the variances against prior forecast and budget. Assist in the cross currency consolidation process across the International footprint. Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts. Completion of quarterly financial disclosure reporting to meet external requirements. SOX compliance. Support key business initiatives by tracking and analysing financial effectiveness. Education 2:1 Degree or above in an analytical discipline Studying towards professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) an advantage Skills / Experience (eg capabilities, industry background ...) Strong spreadsheet analysis skills (Excel) Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with senior management Flexible with the ability to work to tight deadlines Experience in a relevant discipline desirable Knowledge of reporting processes and systems (TM1)
