We are currently seeking a Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance Team and provide a key support function to the successful running of our business. The role includes a Study Package. Main duties and responsibilities The main objective of the role is to undertake Management Accounting tasks to accurately report the performance of the business. The key areas of responsibility are: Daily Client Costings Contract Variations preparation Adhoc Sales Invoicing Credit Note Processing Hours Reconciliations Set up Projects/Sites in Sage Weekly Specialist Division Application for Payments Log Updating/Review/Chasing Monthly Bank Reconciliation RBS/Natwest Prepayments, Accruals and Period End analysis Fixed Assets Schedule Update Costs analysis Waste Services Recharges Hours Schedules preparation for outside agencies Expenses Processing Credit Card Processing Consumables Recharges Costs analysis National Statistics Forms completion Adhoc Contract Profitability Reviews Contracts System Maintenance Cover PL/SL daily tasks Follow our service principles at all times: We will always deliver on service We are never complacent and always look at better ways of doing things We provide solutions not obstacles We are always positive, enthusiastic and helpful We always take ownership and never shirk responsibility We always communicate honestly and openly with our customers and we make sure that we regularly check that we are delivering what they want - we never hide bad news. Qualifications and Experience Essential: Previous Management Accounts exposure AAT Qualified / Early Stage Studier CIMA/ACCA (Study Package included) Exceptional communication skills at all levels Good general IT skills and strong Excel skills Competencies Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a target driven environment At all times demonstrate confidentiality, conscientiousness and trustworthiness Self-motivated, target driven, well-organised, good attention to detail Willingness and ability to work as a member of a team Systematic and process focused mind-set Strong communicator both on the telephone and via email
