Job description Are you a qualified management accountant? Are you searching for an accounting role that will get you out and about? The Company has seen continued, impressive growth since its inception 15 years ago and maintains ambitious growth plans for the future. To support this ambition and retain our position at the forefront of the food services industry, we are looking to recruit an ambitious Finance Manager to strengthen our Operational finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will be highly visible at all levels of the business requiring the successful candidate to build strong and effective relationships with our Senior Operations team. What will you be doing? Operating in a finance business partner role, supporting nominated Regional Directors to manage their business to ambitious financial targets Using trend analysis and forecasting to techniques to highlight risk and opportunity in a timely manner to maximise benefit to the business Providing support and training to operational teams to ensure Operations Managers and Location Managers can maximise the operational efficiency of their teams and contracts Identifying and implementing initiatives at a regional level to deliver sustainable operational improvements Supporting the mobilisation of new contracts, including building realistic operating budgets, monitoring performance during initial trading and working with the Operations team to implement any corrective actions in a timely manner Supporting the regional month end process, reviewing proposed adjustments and challenging Operations Managers on performance Providing meaningful and insightful reporting analysis to support regional operational review meetings Working effectively as part of a team of 10 finance business partners Identifying and implementing best practice opportunities across all regions Developing and maintaining an effective control environment Continuing to develop the existing business reporting environment What You Must Have A lively, outgoing personality Qualified accountant, preferably CIMA. ACCA/ ACA will also be considered. Experience of operating in a multi-site retail business A motivated, self-starter with an enquiring and pro-active approach to work Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be comfortable interacting across all levels of the business in formal and informal environments Excellent Excel skills Strong commercial mind-set A passion for delivering improvement We Would Also Like You To Have Experience in a food service/ catering environment Use of Microsoft SharePoint Use of Microsoft Great Plains What do you get for all your hard work?
