Compliance Analyst - Glasgow - Permanent HRC Recruitment is working on an exciting new opportunity for a Compliance Analyst to join a high profile wealth and investment bank in Glasgow City Centre on a permanent basis. This is an opportune time to join one of the leading investment firms in the UK as they continue to grow and develop. This is a new role within the compliance business function where the individual will be exposed to an already established knowledgeable and supportive team to work within key risk frameworks to monitor and action all business processes for key groups within operational services. You will also be required to assist in business change processes to ensure that these are compatible with all existing regulatory requirements. What will you be responsible for? The Compliance Analyst will ensure that strategic objectives and annual plans are all met whilst adhering to key regulatory frameworks. Responsibilities will include: Review trading activity, affiliations, private investments, and gifts and entertainment disclosures within relevant time scales Investigate and verify accurately any conflicts of interest Look for inefficiencies within existing processes and ensure that these are flagged up to relevant stakeholders Develop and implement correct reporting and assurance frameworks using visualisation tools such as Tableau Are you this person? The ideal individual for this position should have acquired a good working knowledge of financial products, preferably within a regulatory environment What you need: Previous experience within financial services Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to make key decisions Ability to form and develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and to manage these accordingly Desirable: 1 year experience in an investment operations environment Degree educated in a relevant discipline Good IT skills Contact Lisa Smyth at HRC Financial Services Scotland HRC Recruitment acts as both an employment business and an agency
