If so, Robertson Bell have just the role for you My client is looking for a confident interim Assistant Management Accountant, to join their team on a part time basis, working for a charity based in North West Kent. This role will suit an individual that is looking to gain more exposure into the charity sector, on a flexible working basis. The working hours for this role will be 14 hours per week, with the working pattern to be set by the successful candidate. The role will last for an initial period of four months on an interim basis, with the possibility of extension. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will work in a fast-paced environment surrounded by experienced and driven individuals. As the interim Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the following; Preparation of the monthly management accounts Oversee/calculate and process monthly journals for prepayment, accruals and depreciation Oversee/prepare VAT returns in advance of deadline Providing variance analysis Assist with budgets and forecasts Maintaining a fully reconciled balance sheet monthly The successful interim Assistant Management Accountant will have the following desirable skill set; Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent Have good knowledge of accountancy software (desired but not essential Sage 50) Have strong excel skills (Vlookup and Pivot tables) Excellent communication skills Previous experience in a similar role within the charity sector You will need to be immediately available or on a short notice period to be considered for this role.
