Accounts Payable Supervisor My client is an international media firm with a growing reputation in the market. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will take ownership and build a team to support the function. This include but not limited to; Ensure the timely and accurate payment cycle of supplier's invoices in accordance with company policy, accounting and legislative requirements Month end reconciliation of supplier statement and invoices Set up of new vendors Completing supplier credit applications processing weekly payment runs and adhoc payments when required undertake, implement and initiate improvements on all aspect of accounts payable workflow To be successful in the role, you will require; Previous senior Accounts Payable experience in a sole role Advanced understanding of Accounts Payable policies and standards Tertiary qualification in accounting desirable but not essential Team leadership experience Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Large volume processing of accounts for payment and customer accounts experience using Microsoft or Sage is preferable but not essential Excellent time management skills in prioritising and planning workloads to meet strict deadlines High level knowledge and skills in working with relevant software packages Advance Microsoft Office packages, excel skills - vlookups and Pivot tables Strong attention to details and demonstrates high accuracy in completing tasks Positive approach and ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment If this sounds like you, APPLY now to not miss this rare opportunity.
