A fast expanding business in Hertfordshire are looking for a qualified accountant to a team of 3 existing Finance Managers in supporting a large accounting function. The role will be managing a team of 3 staff and report into the Finance Director. They will provide support on all management accounting and financial accounting reports across month end and year end. The company are looking for someone that has either ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualifications. The company have just relocated to new offices and are well respected for looking after employees and ensuring that a real work live balance exists for all staff. The company want someone that is experienced in supporting a team as they look to senior managers to help develop and nurture talent internally. Duties: Statutory accounts for all group companies and group consolidation Corporation tax reporting and planning for year end Month and year end reporting Group reporting and management accounting Month end preparation - post and review journals and balance sheet reconciliation Reporting of accounts payable, accounts receivable, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets and other debtors and creditors Management reports including detailed budget to actual variance analysis, Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Cashflow forecasting Assisting the FD with budgeting and forecasting process Business partnering for sites Person Spec: Qualified ACCA/CIMA or ACA Staff management experience Excellent excel experience Strong inter-personal skills
