Our client, a highly successful niche manufacturer is seeking a proactive, actively studying part qualified CIMA/ ACCA Management/ Operational Accountant. They are within easy access of the M180 and the Humber Bridge this will offer the right individual a great opportunity to join and grow within their busy and passionate accounts team. Working closely with the Operational Accountant and Finance Manager, the Assistant Operational Accountant role will include the following duties: Preparation of weekly management information & KPI reporting packs Punctual and accurate collation and calculation of relevant data including daily order statistics Assist in the production of monthly management accounts pack and commentary including volumes, manufacturing and material variances, labour analysis, fixed and site margins Weekly PPV and MPV reporting and analysis Balance sheet reconciliation Liaising with Operational Managers, giving them financial understanding to assist in the continued growth and success of the business Assist in a variety of project work as per the business needs Analysis and investigation of discrepancies Producing weekly KPI reports for senior management Fixed assets management Stock reporting including values, turns and usage Reviewing and updating BOM's The ideal candidate will: Be actively studying CIMA or ACCA or AAT Qualified and wishing to commence further studies Have experience of a similar manufacturing accounting position within a medium/ large fast paced business Strong excel skills Clear communicator - able to give financial knowledge to non financial managers In return: The opportunity to be a key player in the business and implement new systems and procedures You will work in a team focused environment within a fast growing business An excellent package and a good chance that you will be able to grow within this position Chase and Holland are recruiting this role exclusively so if you are interested, please apply now.
