My client is a driving force at the heart of the Financial Services sector and are looking for a Chief Technology Officer who can lead them in the next stage of their evolution. This is an SME, and is involved in leading edge industry initiatives and diverse, cutting edge, tech projects. There are three core elements to this role: (a) Strategy & Roadmap (b) Projects (c) BAU All three are equally important and all three will involve stakeholder engagement at the highest levels, as well as attention to detail at the most basic. My client has recently spent a significant amount of money on tech upgrades, but is not realising good ROI. Processes need to be streamlined, efficiencies need to be made and the future road map needs to be designed and delivered. You will be on several key operating committees and present to the main board on all key tech and operating issues across the firm. You will also be involved in some ground-breaking projects, some of which are industry firsts. You will also get direct exposure to some of the most senior industry figures in the banking sector.
