Robert Walters are currently working with a leading business based in central Guildford to recruit for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting directly into the Finance Director, you will work as part of a small team to ensure that the Finance function operates smoothly, supporting the Finance Director as needed as well as having the following roles and responsibilities. - Processing invoices and payment runs - Chasing debt, processing payments and allocating as required - Reconcile supplier statements - Day to day bank reconciliations - Balance sheet reconciliations - Post journals where required - Stock analysis With strong excel skills and the ability to do pivot tables, SUMIF formulas and v-look ups, you will have good levels of experience working in a finance team and ideally be part qualified AAT or even studying for CIMA/ACCA. On offer with this vacancy is a salary of £25 - £28k with a pension, healthy living allowance and other leading benefits.
