Payroll/Bookkeeper Location : Stevenage

Salary:
£26,000-30,000 per annum Contract: Permanent Full time Hours: Monday to Friday 09:30am to 17:00pm Are you experienced processing payroll and bookkeeping? This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with practice experience, or someone from industry looking for an opportunity to get into practice. Could this be your next position? Main responsibilities for the role are: Balancing accounts Processing sales invoices and payments Processing purchase invoices VAT returns CIS returns Bank reconciliation Preparing management accounts Handling prepayments and accruals Preparing year end files To process client payrolls, monthly, weekly and fortnightly Complete and submit all PAYE and NIC documentation including forms P45, P46, P38s Maintain employee records in payroll files and on Excel Keep up to date with legislation changes Liaise with clients and HMRC Skills and experience required: Experience processing payroll and bookkeeping experience Experience processing payroll using SAGE Experience with Quickbooks & Xero is highly beneficial High Level of attention to detail Excellent Excel skills Ability to work to tight deadlines Company Benefits: 23 days holiday 8 bank holidays, increasing up to 25 with each years' service Free parking on site Autoenrollment pension Death in Service Scheme Should you be short listed for this position, a member of the Smart10 team will be in touch with you in the next five working days.
