Purpose of the role: Reporting to the Group Management Accountant, you will be responsible for: Preparation of the full year and half year statutory accounts for all Group entities Working with the Management Accounting team to ensure the internal financial reporting accurately reflects external group reporting Manage the year-end and half year audit process Ensuring finance systems, processes and controls are robust Managing the collation of Group balance sheet reconciliations Supporting the Group CFO and Group Financial Controller/ Company Secretary with Board governance Being the on-site technical accounting expert What we are looking for:- Previous experience as a qualified accountant, ideally ACA or CIMA with post qualification experience Ideally trained through a Big Four accounting firm and with Group consolidation experience Retail experience would be beneficial.
