ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT / PERMANENT / COLNE / £25,000 - £28,000 / GREAT BENEFITS INCLUDING FLEXITIME An international service company based near Colne, is looking to recruit a skilled Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis. Due to continuous growth, a new additional in finance is needed to deal with the added workload. The main purpose of the role is to provide accurate financial reports for all departments within the company. Reporting into the Finance Manager, the duties will include: Delivering accurate daily, weekly and yearly revenue forecasts for each of the products within the group To continue to drive process improvements and evolution of reporting to meet the changing needs of the business. To improve usability and flexibility of all reports within the revenue reporting function for the wider business. To help provide high quality, accurate volumetric reporting to group To support the business with building volume and revenue forecasts for newly acquired entities Help maintain the revenue models which splits out the daily income by programme and by brand to allow improved forecasting. Constantly look for ways to improve the accuracy of these reports and how they are updated. Maintain daily revenue files that split out the revenues into the core streams: accommodation, extras, insurance, booking fee etc. Assist with ad hoc project work The ideal candidate with be commercially aware and have worked within a similar role. They will also need to have strong excel skills and confident with reporting.
