Your new organisation My client is a division of the NHS in Basildon. Following structural changes, they are recruiting for a temporary Management Accountant to further strengthen their finance department. Your new role Based in Basildon, this role will report to the Group Finance Manager (Corporate) and will be responsible for the month end processing of the following MSB budgets : Transformation, MSB & Institute (PMO), STP Transformation. This individual will also support the Group FM and Corporate FMs at each site with a number of corporate business cases that are in the pipeline in the next 3 months, including Estates and Facilities, Informatics and Corporate Nursing. This role requires a methodical approach, a good eye for detail and management accounting experience. It will be based at Basildon Hospital (as the MSB budgets are managed on the BTUH ledger) however there will be a need to travel between the 3 sites. What you'll need to succeed You must be a fully qualified accountant with experience of working within a team in production of year end accounts in a large organisation. It is essential that you have advanced Excel skills, possess demonstrable accounting experience and have a flexible approach to tasks. Knowledge of NHS accounting systems would be desirable. You'll receive £17-£18 PH LTD per hour depending on experience. Starting early October, your new role will run for approximately 3 months but is likely to be extended. There may also be the opportunity of being taken on as a permanent member of staff for the right person.
