Temporary Payroll Advisor

Hays are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious, forward-thinking and modern business based in Norwich.

Your new role
The main purpose of the role is to support a busy finance and payroll function during a period of transition and work in conjunction with the FC and wider finance team to administer payroll services across the company. More specifically you will be responsible for end to end payroll for 270 staff including;

• Processing all starter and leaver documentation
• Transferring and checking payroll data on Sage Payroll
• Sending all associated tax documentation to HMRC
• Processing monthly payment runs
• Calculating payroll amendments such as overtime, SSP, SMP, pensions, bonuses etc.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous experience in a similar senior payroll capacity and be comfortable running large payrolls independently. You must be immediately available to start work and ideally will have worked towards a CIPP qualification, however candidates qualified by experience will also be considered. You must have a proactive approach and strong IT skills.
