An Accounts Assistant role in the City of London for a work space provider. You would be the main point of contact for all account and invoice enquiries for various clients and be involved in all the accounting activities helping them to provide the highest level of service.
The client is a work space provider, located in the City of London, focusing primarily on serviced office spaces.
The main responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant role are:
Handling with a number of accounting queries and issues for the group
Promptly posting invoices and receipts to the ledgers
Processing petty cash and credit card expenses
Payment of supplier accounts in a timely manner
Daily bank reconciliations
Credit card expense administration
To be able to provide an effective handover to anyone covering your role whilst you are away
Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required, in particular at month end
A successful Accounts Assistant candidate would be fully competent with NetSuite and have at least 6 months to 1 year experience. Other essential skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel. Candidates that are AAT qualified or studying for CIMA/ACCA is preferable but not essential.
