Project Accountant Fife, £180-£220 day rate

Hays Senior Finance are currently partnered with a leading utility management organisation in the Fife region to recruit a Project Accountant. This is a daily rate contract from £180 - £220 per day depending on experience. Your new company is a dynamic and highly reputable organisation and are looking for a motivated individual with significant experience in the project space to join their finance function.

Your new role
The Project Accountant role offers an exciting opportunity on a 6-month basis. You will be responsible for producing month end reports, complying with internal controls, and supporting internal controls testing. You will also be accountable for the management (mitigation/elimination) of all project risks. Furthermore, you will be involved in decision support, and will liaise with key stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with the experience to come in and hit the ground running in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Essential experience is required of SAP, and an intermediate understanding of Excel would be preferable. You will have significant project controlling experience, and you will possess the ability to use your own initiative and suggest new ideas while liaising effectively with internal stakeholders.
