Assistant Accountant

Assistant Accountant role towards Warminster.

Your new company
The business is in the luxury retail industry. The business is looking for long term temporary cover but initially can only commit to 4 weeks.

Your new role
Your new role is very importing as it supports the finance function as well as other departments.
The key duties within the role are:

• Assisting with check payment runs and enter payments on to system
• Bank reconciliation
• Month end journals
• Reconciliation of sales
• Overseeing and assisting with Purchase Ledger and processing invoices as and when required.
• Vat returns
• Year end
• Adhoc duties when required

What you'll need to succeed
This role is looking for someone who wants to work as a team. We are looking for a candidate who is fully AAT qualified or starting CIMA. When required you may need assist with Adhoc duties and administration work if the team has fallen behind. We are also looking for some with multi currency experience including GBP, EUR & USD.
Other skills required are:

• 2 years experience in a similar role
• Attention to detail
• Be able to meet deadlines
• Good written communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly

What you'll get in return
This role will be £12.00 per hour. It is on the outskirts of Warminster, there is public transport from the city centre to the location.
