FP&A Analyst

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an FP&A Analyst for a client based in Consett.

Your new role
Our client is looking for an FP&A Analyst, duties will include:

Weekly, monthly and performance reporting.

• Assisting the Management Accountants during weekly rolling EBITDA submission to investigate customer and product mix variances
• Product mid-month reporting analysis to flag any issues and investigate prior to month end
• Provide Management Accountants with month end analysis against budget / reforecast and prior to month
• Assist with reporting required to investigate variances as a result of month end reporting
• Analysis to support business strategy and plans
• Ongoing maintenance of BI tool (Infor) and reports produced our of it
• Uploading of data to Hyperion and Infor BI at month end and budgeting / reforecasting periods

Budgeting and forecasting

• Assist the FP&A and Finance Manager with budgeting and reforecasting process
• Provide analysis to budget holders and business MDs to assist with decision making
• Provide reports and presentation to Finance management for review prior to submission to Group.
• Assisting with working capital / balance sheet and cashflow reviews.

Costing Accounting

• Price elasticity and margin maintenance analysis
• Refine and maintain standard costing methodology

Year end

• Provide year end data and analysis required

What you'll need to succeed
The client is ideally looking for a qualified accountant ACCA or CIMA. Experience within product or a manufacturing business would be ideal.
Cost accounting experience is desirable.
You must be an advanced user of Excel, with experience of using an ERP system, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Knowledge of Power Pivot, Power Query, Power BI, VBA and business intelligent systems.
