Job Details
My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to hit the ground running in a busy office environment. The overall Purpose is to administer the Purchase Ledger and to support the Finance Manager in all aspects of the Finance function.

An established and successful business selling to the major UK multiples and is fast developing a reputable in their market. Privately owned with 30 - 50 employees and profitable, the business is reporting significant year on year growth.
Description
- To process purchase invoices accurately, ensuring correct authorisation, coding and input VAT reclaim
- To complete supplier statement reconciliations and liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies
- Preparing supplier payments in line with monthly timetable, reviewing with the Finance Director.
- To complete all monthly bank reconciliations
- Responsible for company petty cash floats in various currencies and the preparation and posting of month end petty cash reconciliations.
Profile
- Experience in Purchase Ledger, processing invoices, supplier statement reconciliations and BACS payments
- Confident liaising with suppliers and internal managers
- Experience of Multi currency bank reconciliations
Job Offer
The successful candidate will receive a salary up to £24,000 with excellent company benefits.
