Your new role
In your new job as Purchase Ledger you'll be solely responsible for all the Accounts Payable function for the business. You'll check and record receipt of all Accounts Payable paperwork, ensure invoices are approved and authorised on time and carry out all other Accounts Payable tasks that may arise. You will also help to prepare, manage and process the payment run of Accounts Payable invoices for approval and take care of any ad-hoc tasks given to you by the Finance Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to possess 2-3 years minimum experience in a similar role with a strong Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger background. You'll have a strong eye for detail and be meticulous in your approach to your work. You'll be able to work both independently and as part of a small team and take on responsibility for your own workload, therefore prioritisation skills are needed.
