Our client is a well established firm of Insurance Brokers. Founded in 1972, they have grown to become a major Commercial Insurance Brokers with a substantial and varied portfolio of clients. They base their business upon providing quality advice, personal service and attention to a clients' requirements to a level which is second to none.

Your new role

• Maintaining all transactional aspects of the accounts on a day to day basis, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control.
• Full end of month accounts to be reconciled and agreed with Directors and off site Accountants.
• Invoicing for renewal premiums, new business premiums and mid term adjustments.
• Dealing with any direct debit defaults.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Accruals and prepayments.
• Cash flow forecasting.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a confident and experienced Book-Keeper/Company Accountant used to a very hands on role from transactional processing to producing month end reports. Someone from an insurance background would be perfect!.
