This Management Accountant role is based in the Newmarket area within the Manufacturing and production sector and are looking for someone with strong month end accounting and systems experience to come in and hit the ground running through a period of growth and change

Client Details

Leading national client in their chosen field of Manufacturing and production products with close ties to the technology sector and ideally in need of a Management accountant with good systems, month end accounting and available immediately. Based in Newmarket they have parking on site and public transport links. This role is a 2-3 month contract with ownership of handling change and a handover process for more junior roles

Description

Interim Management Accountant main duties and responsibilities;

• Assisted if not completed full month end management accounts production
• Assisted in Budgeting and forecasting
• Business Partnering
• Driving continuous improvement and change
• Ad hoc financial analysis
• Accruals, prepayments and journals
• manage the complex ledger transactions

Profile

Interim Management Accountant experience and characteristics required;

• Prior month end accounting experience ideally 3 years in a management accounting environment
• Confident business partnering
• Keen to work on a 2-3 month fixed term contract basis
• Locally based and commutable
• Able to work as part of a team and on your own
• The desire to input into the improvement of the finance function
