The role of Financial Analyst will support the Commercial Finance Directors and Head of FP&A in providing oversight and review of business performance to the UK RoW NAM region and Support Services.

Description

The key responsibilities in this new role will be:

  • Supporting the commercial finance directors and head of FP&A overseeing financial accounting inputs/output to/from the business to ensure that transactions accurately reflect business activity
    Producing analysis and insights e.g. for board packs and other management information
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasting of revenues, costs and cash
  • Working with the Commercial Finance Directors and Head of FP&A to prepare and review business cases, or supporting them in strategic analysis and decision making
  • Any internal or external audit activity required
  • Providing support to the operational business with technical matters such as AWR, IR35 and any other employment legislation affecting the recruitment industry


  • Undertaking employment cost analysis and review of other spend categories
    • Preparation of backouts and adjustments and controls based reporting

    • Production of any country specific reporting or information to ensure that we are operating in accordance with local requirements eg. BEE in South Africa

    • Other ad-hoc internal and external reporting as required by their business

    Profile

    The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to analyse and present data to senior audiences as well as being highly organised and thriving in dynamic environments.
    Working under pressure and to tight deadlines will be necessary at times as well as working with large data sets.

    The successful candidate will also be highly articulate, both verbally and in writing, good standard of English is required.

    The ability to deconstruct financial terms into basic terms for a lay audience is an essential part of this role.
    Strong financial modelling skills are highly desirable.

    The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong commercial awareness.

    In-depth knowledge of one or more of UK, Middle East, South Africa, NAM areas highly desirable.
