This organisation is a global leader in their industry, they are a forward thinking and growing business who are looking to take on new talent within their Finance team.
Your new role
This is a newly created role, thus day to day duties may vary accordingly. You will ultimately be supporting the Financial Accountant in their day to day duties and this will include:
- Monthly analysis of financial data
- Reconciling and updating control accounts on the general ledger
- Liaison with third parties to investigate any variances
- Reconciling inter-company balances and investigating discrepancies with internal departments
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Completion of month-end close
- Supporting with the disbursement account release
- Payment analysis
- Adhoc duties as and when required by the Financial Accountant.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be AAT qualified or approaching the latter stages of your studies with the ultimate aim of becoming fully qualified. This company are seeking a switched on and driven candidate who is always looking to impress and build on their experience. It would be beneficial if you have experience using Sage 200 software, but not essential, however strong Excel skills will be essential.
What you'll get in return
This company offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and the working hours will be 8:30am-5pm with a 1 hour lunch break. Financial support for studies will also be available for the successful applicant.
