This organisation is a local, well established business based in Burnley. They have been trading for over 100 years and are known for their highest quality of service and expert advice. They are now looking for a permanent, full time Accounts Manager to join their team.

Your new role
Your new role as Accounts Manager will involve you reporting directly to the General Manager. Your day to day role will include the production of the monthly management accounts inclusive of the P&L and balance sheet reconciliations. You will also be maintaining the purchase ledger, reconciliation of nominal ledger accounts, sales ledger and VAT reconciliations and VAT returns. You will also be involve in the preparation of the monthly payroll and oversee the stock management. This is a full time role, working between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role, it would be ideal for you to have an AAT qualification (or equivalent) and have experience working in a similar role, ideally within a product supply company. You will be a flexible character who is happy to assist in other areas such as purchasing and staff management in support of the General Manager.

What you'll get in return
In return for this, you will be offered a competitive salary between £20,000 - £25,000 which is dependent upon experience and a benefits package inclusive of pension, 28 days holiday and flexible working hours. You will be working for a small, friendly organisation where your opinions matter.
