Treasury Assistant / Cashier (temp to perm)

Seeking a Treasury Assistant / Cashier on a temp to perm based in Manchester paying £13 to £16 ph

Our client is growing rapidly and due to this we are seeking a treasury assistant / cashier for a temporary to permanent post.

Your new role
The new job will be diverse and you will :

• Coordinate the weekly cash flow forecast for multiple entities, ensuring accurate reporting and risks and opportunities are identified
• Maintain bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, entities and currencies
• Generate payments under the Group's agreed procedures, using the Group's finance system and banking portal
• Monitor bank accounts on a daily basis, providing transactional support to the AP and AR teams
• Process cashbook journals
• Highlight details of items which may affect other areas of the Finance team
• Collate PSA information and calculate amounts due to HMRC at tax year end
• Control and reconcile petty cash

What you'll need to succeed

You will have proven experience of cash forecasting and bank reconciliations and be able to work to deadlines working on both your own initiative but as part of a wider team. Coupled with strong IT skills you will also have effective communication skills


What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of £27,000 when the role becomes permanent plus 25 days holiday, on site parking and a company pension
