Our client based in South Manchester is a leading Housing Association who are going through a period of change and transformation.
Your new role
Rent and Service Charge Accountant required on a permanent basis. You will report directly into the Rent and Service Charge Manager to maintain the data required to produce stock/property/conversion information including figures for the financial statements. You will ensure master budget information for service charges reconcile before the new year. You will prepare the returns for the working papers for statutory and regulatory return. This is a newly created role working in a team that has been created since the restructure. In addition to the service charge accounting you will also take a key role within producing the monthly management accounts and commentary in conjunction with the budget holders.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be suitably qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or qualified by experience. It is essential you have experience of housing and service charge accounting. This is a business critical role. Strong IT skills and proficient in Excel is essential as you will manipulating large volumes of data.
