This is the chance to join a leading global law firm as a Senior Management Accountant in their City of London office. This is a varied role that offers great commercial development within a top tier professional services environment.

As the UK business has accounted for the majority of this growth they are looking to bring in a Senior Management Accountant to their City of London finance team in order to support this continued progression.

Description

The Role

Reporting into the Finance Manager, this Senior Management Accountant role will be both commercial and varied but will include the following key responsibilities:

  • Month End - Ownership of Month End close. Full preparation of Consolidated Accounts for Board Packs with Commentary.
  • FP&A - P&L/Cost/KPI/variance analysis and other ad hoc analysis where required. Provide support on client specific analysis needs. Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Business Partnering & Commercial Support - work closely with Business Managers, Partners and other non-finance individuals. Assisting with client driven analysis and supporting resolutions of management reporting queries.
  • Process & Control Improvements - maintaining and develop controls in support of the Finance Systems Team, including process implementations.
  • Mentoring - Mentoring of juniors.

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Strong Management Accounts Background
  • Previous Legal Firm Exposure
  • High Excel Proficiency (Macro Level) + Strong Systems Use Background
