Job Details
The Head of Financial Planning & Support is a key role within the central development team. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the Group's long term business plans and take a lead on the preparation and delivery of the overall financial planning and analysis system.

Description
The Head of Financial Planning & Support will be responsible for:
The Preparation of the Group's business plan, ensuring that it is reviewed regularly
Ensure that the longer term financial forecasts are discussed with the leaders of the key businesses
Develop new financial models to appraise projects
Take overall control of the capital appraisal and monitoring tool
Provide effective leadership for staff, ensuring focus on aims, objectives and values
Ensure that the Group's financial forecasts are reviewed to take into account sensitivities to the key variables affecting the Group's finances
Provide a professional business partnering service to the development team
Profile
The successful candidate for the Head of Financial Planning & Support will be:
- Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
Have some experience of financial appraisal and financial planning for a new business venture and/or major capital project including planning to improve profitability and customer service
- Advanced Excel and IT skills
- Able to offer a high standard of internal customer service and business partnering
- Comfortable reporting to and partnering with key senior stakeholders within the business
Job Offer
My client is offering a competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 with benefits.
