OVERALL OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE The Finance Analyst works under minimal supervision with internal stakeholders and reports directly to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Perform general accounting functions and activities including but not limited to the preparation of monthly operators management accounts;
• Responsible for month-end accounting procedures and reconciliations of financial data flows;
• Assist in budget preparation and management;
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans;
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities together with the COO and Finance Manager
• Assist with the preparation of the company's budget;
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reports;
• Improve processes and existing reporting tools within the department;
• Assist with cash flow forecasts and financial reports;
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures;
• Analyse all accounting records and ensure financial data is reliable and gives a true and fair view of the financial position;
• Support the Finance Manager with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the finance department. Requirements:
• Possess Bachelor of Accountancy, ACCA, ACA, or similar professional qualification;
• 1 years post qualification experience. Working knowledge of sage, Quickbooks or similar packages a definitive plus.
• Gaming experience an asset;
• Excellent communication skills and strong inter-personal skills;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools;
• Integrity and professional ethics;
• Diligent and able to work on your own initiative;
• Excellent organisational skills and a great multi-tasker;
• Be able to prioritise and manage work without losing attention to detail;
• Being eager to learn and to deliver on expectations
