Your new role
In your new role you will complete monthly reconciliations on Inter-company transactions, balances and reconciliations. You will be producing accruals & prepayments schedules and post month end Journals for month end close. You will produce draft P&L Flash report, management packs (BR Pack) and margin reports. You will compare variance analysis between actuals, budgets and prior year on P&L. You will assist in ensuring that month end reporting deadlines are achieved by the Finance Department. You will be responsible for managing stock month end processes, stock journals, aged & Obsolete stock reports to help drive down Obsolete/slow moving stock, while leading year end stock-take. You will Produce KPI's reporting and monitor results, working closely with Directors & BU Managers. You will play and have a Key involvement in migration to new system implementation.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will drive date analysis and management reporting for the company. To be successful you will assist the FD and CFO with annual budget processes and quarterly forecast reporting. You will provide cover and assistance for the Management Accountant where necessary. To be successful you will undertake additional duties as requested by the Finance Director. To succeed in your new role you must be Part AAT or fully AAT qualified or a Part-qualified accountant. You must have the ability to complete work on strict deadlines weekly, monthly and quarterly. You must have advanced excel knowledge, Powerpoint and ERP experience is desirable. It would be desirable to have manufacturing experience, high levels of attention to detail, self-discipline and flexibility.
