Hays Accountancy and Finance are proud to be working with this globally successful manufacturer in Warwick, to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk.
Your new role
As Purchase Ledger Clerk your main responsibility will be to receive and process large volumes of supplier invoices in an accurate and timely manner to ensure payments are made within the agreed payment terms. You will assist with the receiving and distribution of daily post; manually scan and log supplier invoices; log query invoices for investigation; and match production invoices to correct receiver lines for processing on the ledger for payment. You will also reconcile, print and post invoice batches to the ledger and deal with supplier issues and queries.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will have previous all-round working experience in a very busy purchase ledger department and be competent processing large volumes of invoices. You will be numerate, with an excellent eye for detail, and be skilled with manufacturing accounting packages and MS excel. Previous experience within the manufacturing industry is desirable, but not essential.

Normal hours of work are 37 per week, working 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8am - 1pm Friday (flexitime available).
