An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a rapidly growing Property/Construction consultancy based in central London.

Client Details

My client is a leading independent consultancy and achieved double-digit growth every year since it's inception. My client takes on projects varying in size from £10m to £100m across residential and commercial developments and they have built a tight-knit and collaborative culture where every employee has a stake in it's success.

Description

The duties of the Finance Manager will include the following:

  • Analyse financial information to assist with business profitability and growth
  • Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision-making
  • Produce month end and year end journals
  • Prepare statutory and management accounts
  • Lead on the annual budgeting and planning process
  • Provide monthly updates on budget
  • Manage capital expenditure
  • Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, work in progress, variance analysis and commentaries
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
  • Produce cashflow statements
  • Maintain the billings forecasting tool
  • Review company assets and liabilities
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations or all accounts
  • Assess monthly expenses
  • Calculate and arrange the payment of Corporation Tax, PAYE and VAT
  • Manage all payments including payment of salaries to staff
  • Manage debt
  • Produce relevant commercial analysis, for instance job costings
  • Manage banking arrangements
  • Review accounting processes and practices and wherever possible improve these to ensure efficient financial operations

Profile

The ideal Finance Manager will have the following:

  • Professional finance qualification either CIMA/ACA/ACCA
  • Professional services or building and construction experience
  • Experience producing management accounts, budgets & forecasts
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and able to successfully communicate with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial

Job Offer

Basic salary up to £60,000 + benefits
